I got tasked to build a suitcase demo for our marketing guys. Absolutely has to go to layout tomorrow evening. There is no time for a micro.
-I have 4 discrete inputs which must be mapped to 5 digital outputs...this is not high speed at all..the inputs come from analog comparators.
-The outputs go to a Supertex fan controller IC demo board to control a high voltage fan.
-Looking at the truth table, no simple combination of logic gates is going to map the four comparator outputs to the 5 fan control inputs.
-I want to use a parallel eeprom--the inputs go to the address inputs and the 5 digital outputs come off the data pins.
But I havent touched a parallel eprom since they were using UV and 27C32s.
Can anyone recommend a commodity non-registered parallel eeprom and a low cost programmer for it?
