Howdy all,
We have a cleaning process for metals that uses CEE BEE's J-88L alkaline/permanganate solution per Pratt and Whitney SPOP 213 and GE SPM 70-21-10. We use a Serfilco ECTFE-T pump and have to replace the pump head every year because of the effects of the solution. I was wondering if there is a pump which would have more longevity then what we're using. We generally keep this tank around 190°F but could go as high as 200°F per the spec. Per the MSDS sheet J-88L is a sodium hydroxide/sodium permanganate solution, and I'm not sure whether pumps designed for potassium permanganate would work well.
Thanks,
-Kirby
