Record Macro Function

Hi all.
I am starting to investigate the possibility of writing some macros to be used in the drafting workbench.
I went to TOOLS > MACROS > START RECORDING and switched workspaces and inserted a few lines and then stopped the macro recording.
When I edit the macro using macro editor there are no commands in it .
Does anybody know why this could be ?
I am using V5 R11 SP6 with an MD2 license.

Hi ChrisDixon,

I was told by my CATIA supplier that the Macro recording tool will not record certain commands in certain workbenches.

Yes , It looks like it won,t record in the Drafting workbench at all.
