Recycling wastewater

I had a question about grey water recycling, can grey water recycling systems be applied in building rehabilitation or are they only for new buildings?
On the other hand, can they be used to irrigate all types of plants?

It must have a pH below 3 for use it in concrete

And for irrigation, with normal treatment it can only be used on non-fruit plants.
