I'm looking to identify some steel plate known as Red Diamond - it looks like it says either "146" or "14G" after it.

Is there modern day an equivalent? I believe it to be a wear resistant plate material from some time ago.

Hope someone can help - I've searched the internet but no luck so far.

Thanks in advance!
