Folks:
Need tips and ideas from all experienced members for reducing the size of NX Sequencing: Motion envelopes.
We use NX Sequencing to create Motion envelopes of automotive parts and the file sizes are huge. The faceted Motion Envelopes sometimes are 25 MB or even 100 MB. The resulting JT files are of the same size. For example, for tie-rod motion study of a 4x4 vehicle has 14 motion envelopes and the file size is 100 MB.
Are there any operations that can be done to these faceted bodies, motion envelopes so that the file size is reduced. Any ideas about operations such as joining, uniting are welcome. We use NX 9.0 and Vis Mockup for visualization.
Thanks in advance for your time and support.
