Hi Everyone,
I'm trying to design a wall using finite element method or shell design using American code but I can't see any reference how to combine the stress extracted from it. mostly in Europe and using Eurocode they adapt the concept of sandwich method(Brondum-Nielsen’s approach) but based on ACI I can't find one. I already read the ACI 318.2 it say's the design considerations there but no guide on combining the stress from meshed plate. If you know any refence would be a great help.
