Hi,
I 'm trying to get reference point as result of intersection of plane and sketch that is perpendicular to the plane, but SW is not accepting.Any idea what is alternative? Thanks

Proizvodnja,

Can you show us a sketch? I am not sure what you want.

In SolidWorks, 2D sketches are attached to a plane. Effectively, you have a plane, and a sketch that is attached to another plane. Try using a 3D sketch. A 3D sketch allows you to attach points and lines at intersections of planes.

Hi, Proizvodnja

Create a sketch on the Top plane and add a couple of reference points. Ctrl-select one of the points and the circle and then apply "Pierce" relationship. Do the same to the other point.

Best regards,

Alex
