Hello,
There is command in design tools of progressive die wizard called wire EDM start holes. It generates the sketch of circles for start hole for CAM application.
My question is: Can it be automatically added into the reference set that we call CNC-EDM reference set.(I mean just this sketch).
The problem we have sometime we forgot to add these circles to reference set for our CAM guy on floor and block come to EDM guy without start hole.

Thank you.

Couldn't find anything in the customer defaults, so I think you are looking at some coding to accomplish this.

Thank you for your reply.
Could you please direct me to where i can find and learn how to write the code for this?

Thank you very much.

Have you considered using a hole feature in a model intended solely for wedm? Some companies also use a model for cam blank use which has a start hole. This gives you a parametric start hole along with a realistic model which represents what wedm is going to proceed with.
