Good morning Sirs,
I would like to know if somebody can help me for this matter:
in catalyst reforming exchanger in the tubeside inlet I've naphta in Liquid state and in outlet feed mixture totally vaporized.
In the shell side I've reactor effluent.
How many "liquid state" I've to consider in percentage (more or less) in my exchanger ? (totally for tube side and shell side)
Thank you in advance for your help.

Hi Ivan,
I am not sure if I understand your question properly but I would assume you are looking for the vapour fraction within the exchanger. With the phase transfer, I would try to model this in Aspen to obtain the heat release curve (HCurve) which would be dependant on the composition of the streams and the operating conditions (and duty) of the exchanger.
I hope this helps.
