Refrigerant tubing section

HI there,

always dealing with distributors and refrigerant tubing.

This time I am in front of following situation:

In a system with TXV valve, all the conditions are known, I have to choose the right refrigerant tubing.

Evaporating temperature is around 23F

There are two possibilities, according to Sporlan selection valve.

1 - smaller section refrigerant tubing
In this case I get an overload of the refrigerant tubing of 165%

2 - bigger section refrigerant tubing
In this case I get a load of the refrigerant tubing of 55%

I would be afraid of utilizing the smaller section refrigerant tubing because of the risk of clogging it.
Unfortunately, I cannot change length of refrigerant tubing.

Moreover, I would expect that these values are referring to a straight tube, not a curved one as usual.


Unfortunately even Sporlan is a bit puzzled on this situation, therefore best thing is referring to past experience.
Please may I ask you what you would choose or if you have dealt with similar experiences ?
In general, in similar situation would you choose bigger or smaller section ?
