Hi, can anyone please tell me how to solve this no doubt simple issue I have. when i draw two overlapping shapes how do i 'merge' them so i end up with just the outline and all the inner lines are gone? . I remember doing something with region command but cant remember how i did it. just need a solid outside line to put to cnc.

Not sure if this is what you're looking for...
Overlapping rectangles.
Highlight both and trim the inner edges.
Click the Region button, click on both outer edges to create (1) region.

That's exactly the answer I have been looking for, thanks for your response , Thank you
