I' am looking for regression equations for predicting the mechanical properties for steel casting after quench & tempering for low carbon steels wich take account of the alloying elements

YS, TS, A%, Z%, HB, Di, ....

You might be in luck. I had just purchased a two volume set titled "Steel Heat Treatment Handbook" by George E. Totten. I have been working on a special project related to wind turbine gear failures and this two volume set was what I needed for the job. Actually, it is an excellent technical reference book that goes into significant detail concerning steel heat treatment.

In reviewing the Chapter on Hardenability in the Handbook volume titled "Metallurgy and Technologies", I found a section that described in great detail regression analysis with corresponding equations to calculate Jominy curves from chemical composition. Further information followed leading into regression curves and corresponding equations for predicting tensile strength (Rm, elongation (A5%), contraction (%Z), bending fatigue stregnth and impact energy for a select group of steels based on H (hardness) and S (degree of hardening).

I would recommend you first review the above handbook, if at all possible. It might not be exactly what you are looking for but it is worth a review.
