Hello Team,

I need one shortcut or suggestion to avoid repetitive work in Team Center.

In the ECN Solution folder, we are pasting Part Numbers, which will be released, But again we need to update ECN numbers in individual datasets of the same part numbers.
My concern is as soon as we add the Part Number in the Solution folder it has to reflect in the Summary of the individual part number.
Can anyone help me out in this regard?

Advance Thanks
Nandish

You need to explain this a little further. I do not understand the question.
What is "ECN" ?
How can you "paste" part numbers ?
Do you copy/paste the item revision or "just a number" ?
I assume you release the revision and not "the part" ?
Is "Part number" the same as Teamcenter Item ID ?
Do you change the part number of an existing Item ?

Regards,
Tomas

Not sure if this will help...
We don't update drawings with the ECN number, using the ECR number instead to track the drawing changes. Any change number/approval updates occur before the ECR is promoted to an ECN. The ECN formalizes the ECR changes.

Hello Tomas,

In our organization we will create ECN numbers in order to release the parts, In that ECN we have Different folders of this solution folder is also one among them,

Kindly find the below for reference.

The parts that we need to release need to paste or Add to this folder,

Once we add parts for the solution folder of the ECN, in the summary of the added parts ECN numbers have to reflect but it's not reflecting,
