Relationship between nitriding potential and mass transfer coefficient

Dear All,

I am modelling gas nitriding of steel. An important parameter is the nitriding potential which determines the amount of nitrogen put into the material,but so far, my model has only the mass transfer coefficient, whch gives amount of nitrogen that goes into the material.

Has anyone come across the relationship between nitriding potential and mass transfer coefficient?
