Could someone provide some direction in this area?
I need to be able to gain access to our license server from my home system. We have a simple eithernet here and the one sytem provides about 6 of us with cable internet. I know it is possible to get plugged into this from the outside but have no clue where to start. Perhaps somebody else out there has had to stumble through this???

Thanks in advance for any advice...
Dave

The first step is to see if you can ping your work license server from your home system. Once you have this done, then just install UG on your home system, as long as it meets UG certified HW specs, and go.

I have to use a VPN account to access work from home and I have both UG and Pro/E installed. I am on a DSL line, but it isn't fast loading parts over the network. My hardware isn't certified, my graphics card is an OpenGL ATI Radeon 9700Pro, but both UG NX1 and Pro/E Wildfire run without problems.

"Wildfires are dangerous, hard to control, and economically catastrophic."
"Fixed in the next release" should replace "Product First" as the PTC slogan.
