Does anybody know of a Macro to change the color applied to surfaces and Part Body features back to Auto?

I have ran into this from customer provided models where the surface of a part has one applied color, the feature has another, and the Part Body has another color.
Usually the Part Body color trumps the surface and features colors, but not always.

I googled a bunch and could never figure out the terminology to yield the results i wanted.
Reset Properties appears to be exactly what I am after, thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

It looks like you have actually written a Macro to do something like this already:

If you want to see what color has been applied to what feature, use the Graphic Properties Wizard. (it's the icon on the right side of the Graphic Properties toolbar that looks like an orange with a cigarette?) The wizard let's you choose from a variety of options (color, layer, hide/show, etc.) and it shows you what property has been applied to the selected object, and which one has priority over the others. You can't use the Wizard the change anything, but I've found it handy to understand why certain things look like they do.

plz notice that setting color values to the same value as the default color will not be the same as resetting properties.

Ferdo's magical said:
Code:
Set visPropertySet1 = selection1.VisProperties
visPropertySet1.SetRealColor [b]Auto,Auto,Auto,Auto[/b]

does not work on 3DX2018x

and the solution I would go for is there (again from Ferdo): thread560-321161
