Hi all,

I am new to NX5 drafting. I have created three views of a simple assembly. One of the parts shows visible reference lines and sketches from feature construction. They are invisible in the part, but are visible in the drawing view. How do I get rid of them?

First check in the Assembly Navigator to see that the components which contains these extra lines and sketches don't have their Reference Set set to 'Entire Part'. if so, change it to 'Model' or whatever you default model Reference Set is.

If this didn't solve the problem, go back to the part files which contain the extra line ans sketches and make sure that these extra unwanted objects have not been included on the Model Reference Set. If they have remove them from the Model Reference Set and you should be OK.

Thanks John, the component was indeed set to 'Entire Part.' It's fixed now.

So many new things to learn!
