Hi folks.
Yet another question that I'm hoping has a real quick answer.
I think I may have changed a setting somewhere that was best left....unseterized
I've got my assembly finished, and I've come to render it. Now, it renders ok in photoview360, but i cant find a way to alter the colour of the stock materials (ie, making a blue or red cast-steel). This isn't a real problem,as I want to learn SW's inbuilt photoworks tools.
The problem I've got is that i can apply colors and finishes to different faces in part mode no problem (If i open up the part on its own, alter things and render it, looks great.)
However, if i render the model in assembly mode, it seems like each part can only have one colour or finish.
Is there a setting that carries my materials and finishes through, from part mode up to assembly mode?
I've included a pic if it makes things easier. The item on the left is a blue, cast alloy with uncoloured matt sides. The item on the right is exactly the same item, but it renders as all blue cast.
Thanks a lot for your time.
