Having recently moved from NX5 to NX7.5 and Teamcenter 8 (bypassing NX6), I am trying to figure out how to best use Replace Component. Documentation says that the command replace Open Component As and Open Assembly As, with similiar behaviour.
I can't seem to get my Load Options in NX to work in the same manner with Replace component as they did with Open component as, etc.
Is there any documentation on the GTAC site explaining the best way to do this?
also, comments and suggestions please.

Note that starting with NX 6.0, both 'Substitute Component' and 'Open Component As' have been replaced by a single new function titled 'Replace Component'. This does not require that you first Close and then re-Open Part files, plus it also combines the menus and options of the two pre-NX 6.0 legacy functions onto a single new-style dialog.
