hi all

i have a customer who has been sold to another company. they are asking me to replace their old title blocks with a new one. they have given me a new prt file with the new title block, it has all the table sections as attributes (ie part name). i had thought about just doing an import part while in the drawing, which works, but all the table section do not come through. i had thought that perhaps these table sections were on a blanked level but i do not see them.
my next idea was to create a pax file from the new title block file and try to import, but i do not see how i can do that.
any help would be appreciated! BTW this is NX11

thanks

Before you import your part, make your sheet size the largest standard size first, then import your part. Does this help?

hi

no that makes no difference. when i first started to try the import part method the system is asking for me to select offset curves etc. somehow i was able to get it to work but that was giving me no editable tables to put in ie: drawing name etc. i stopped that and did copy paste and i get the same result, so that is the method i will stick with until i find out the proper method. i am assuming that there must be a way! i could not find anything in the documentation on this.
