I'm new to UG, using NX 7.5. My question is, I have a part in drafting which I would like to change the original model part to a new (revised) one which has minor changes. I want to retain most dimensioning/tolerances for unchanged geometry in drafting. How do I properly replace the model part so that I don't have to create an entirely new drawing/drafting?

Any help appreciated

If you're working in Master Model mode, where the Drawing is actually a single level assembly, you can just do a 'Replace Component' from the Assembly Navigator.

and then if dimensions did lose their associativity you can reassociate them by rmc on the dimension extention line and "reassociate".
If the new model is based off the old model then you probably won't have to reassociate many (if any) dimensions.
