Hi,

I would like to know how I can report eigenvalues to a txt file.
Currently I'm opening every ODB file to get the eigenvalue by looking at the viewport. If I know how it works in the GUI, I can script it. So does anyone know how this works within the GUI? I can't find anything in history or field output.

It should be in the history outputs. From the GUI, the report option would do the trick as well.

Look into the .dat after the analysis.

In postprocessing also via Result -> Steps/Frames.

I couldn't find them (negative) in the msg file but I found them neatly arranged in the DAT file, so I'll write a script for that to extract and report them. this forum has saved me a lot of time :)
