I design fire suppression systems in Hungary and plan to work abroad, in an English-speaking country. I have the qualifications for working here, but have no idea what is needed abroad. Is it neccessary to have a native diploma in fire protection engineering? Or a special course?
The other question: is this field saturated? What chances do I have finding a job?

Is Hungry in the EU yet? I know for EU member nations, there is an european license that allows for international euro-member licensure.(EuIng or something like that) It may apply for associate members. I think ICC based codes are needed. Of course checking with local fire officials for code compliance.

I am currently switching from EE to fire safety. I believe it is a good field for many reasons. Fire safety especially when you market the insurance industry, has some time invariant market. (stuff always burns, and there are always lawyers)
