Hi, I have a doubt regarding isolated resonant DC/DC topologies.
I understood that for keeping the resonant mode the input and output converters shall be in some way synchronised.
With the attached block diagram from a Auxiliary DC PS supplier, how do you get that with a rectifier in between?
Or am I wrong and the resonant mode can be maintained independently of the output converter (inverter in this case)?

Regards

Is this for school?

Resonance modes are not necessarily stopped by a rectifier; think about it.

Of course I can. I can do anything. I can do absolutely anything. I'm an expert!

Nop IR, real application from DC 750V transport network.

i asked the supplier and got this:

We have on the input side a boost converter, this is not resonant switched. We generate from that a voltage intermediate circuit.
At this intermediate circuit is connected a Series resonant converter, that is able to generate a stabilized intermediate circuit for the inverter. The inverter is switched hard and not synchronized with the Series resonant converter, this is not necessary.

In the resonant converter shall be an internal LC network for creating the soft switching condition I suppouse?
