Restoring prt file preview image in an Explorer window.

I believe I need to register ugshext.dll using the regsvr32.exe command to restore NX 12 prt file previews for Explorer windows in Windows 10 OS.

I tried the following string in a cmd window as admin but it did not work...
C:\Windows\syswow64\regsvr32.exe "C:\Program Files\Siemens\NX 12.0\nxbin\ugshext.dll"

This was the string I used for NX 11 running in Windows 7 but now I am in Windows 10 and NX 12 so perhaps I am missing something.

Any ideas?

I think i fixed this issue a few weeks ago myself. I can't recall the exact thing i changed but i used FileTypesMan from

http://www.nirsoft.net/

to tinker with / check the settings for the .prt extension. Whatever i changed fixed it so you may be able to do the same.

I also fixed secondary commands that were still using NX12 install paths to use NX1872 install path. eg. NX Part Version / NX Assy Info etc.

Screenshot of my settings you can check against. Mine may not be "official" or correct.. but work on Win7. And i may have to do it again on a Win10 Machine if get the chance to update to 1872 soon (as its doing the same thing and not showing thumbnails in Windows Explorer (though i use Directory Opus mostly).
