346.3 states records should be retained for at least five years for examination procedures and examination personnel qualifications. I would like to get some clarification on "examination procedures" and "examination personnel". What documentation should be included under these categories? Does examination procedures mean NDE only or does it include items such as hydrotesting, torque reports, measurements, etc. Does examination personnel include NDE credentials only should the inspectors credentials, welder performance qualifications etc. be included?

Looks to me like the code is indicating that NDE testing results and NDE personnel qualifications are all that is required to be kept for 5 years.
