Hello,

i am trying to get a force-displacement curve for the reticulated dome with "static, riks" step. But first I am trying to verify my model with a "static, general" step.
I created a part of a dome which was then in assembly copied and rotated 6 times to get the entire dome. The connection between parts was made with beam connectors.

Problem is that at the top node I get exactly two times smaller displacement in y direction than in my model made in Staad.Pro.

I am trying to model Kiewitt-6 dome with 4 rings, diameter of 20m, with height f/d=1/6, using pipes 70x2 mm. Connection between elements is rigid, and supports are pinned.

I have modeled a part using Base features---shape:point and Type:coordinates. Maybe that is a problem?

I have attached .cae file so if someone can help me i will be very thankful.

Once again thank you very much.

Regards,
Ivan
