Hi!

Have any ideas how to make reverse of rotation of one phase motor, which have two windings - one for acceleration (only for start), and second one - for work? I think it is connected with windings.

Thanks in advance!

Hi wiks,
First winding is "main winding" and the second is "auxiliary winding". Auxiliary winding is only for start-up. If you reverse the current flow of only one winding (main or auxiliary), the rotation is reversed.

Suggestion: The single phase motors and some DC motors have a very similar reversal of direction of rotation, namely, the way it is posted in the previous posting in majority of cases.

there are 2 windings - a start winding and a running winding.the start winding has the higher resistance of the two.it normally has a capacitor in series with it.
if the ends of both windings are accessible, then the reversal of one of the windings will change the direction of the motor.
i must add, however, that 4 coil ends are not always visible in the termination box.

One winding is "main winding" and the other is "starting winding". starting winding is only for start-up. If you want to reverse the direction of motor so only one winding (main or starting), change terminals only one winding both of them starting & running/main so now the rotation is reversed.
