Hi, We have a RFCC with a CO Incinerator up-stream of the Flue Gas Cooler (FGC). During FGC tube leaks the unit is brought down though a by-pass facility has been provided which by-passes the COI and FGC totally. My question here is, why cant the RG-1 flue gas be combusted in the COI and then mixed with RG-2 flue before by-passing the FGC to the stack. This way, environment regulations can also be met apart from avoiding the RFCC unit downtime. Hope I have made my case clear.
