Rib & Block Slab System - Pre-cast decking system

I'm doing a forensic investigation on high deflections in a rib & block slab system that has been constructed, not my own design. I would however like to read up on the theory of designing such a system first.

Does anybody have any academic literature, design guidelines they would be willing to pass on regarding Rib & Block Slabs, anything will do? Please?
