Solidworks' primary forum at forum.solidworks.com will be gone as of April 2, 2021. After that, the site will ported to 3D (Dreadful) Experience World.

Much weeping and gnashing of teeth have ensued. Sackcloth and ashes worn by all.

One of the greatest strengths of SolidWorks has been the strength and unity of its user community. I fear for the loss of this valuable asset.

Wholeheartedly agree Tick!

Been using that site for a year due to being a SW Usergroup Leader and it totally sucks[flame], I hate everything about it. I probably won't be using the Solidworks forums much after they shut it down. [cry]

I have had issues logging into the new site for several months. I have not received any support about it other than click on new PW. I did that, etc. Nothing. Gave up.

Solidworks is next on their agenda to get rid of soon I am sure. Jim Ray tried to tell us years ago During SWW

Irritating!
The old forum is now gone, I can't login to the new one. I have tried new passwords, nothing. I tried chatting with support, they say "what forum?".
ugh!
Do any of you have a direct link to the forum?

I have been trying to use the SW forum. I noticed every time I write a reply, it gets deleted in a couple hours. I have given up on the site.

So what happened to ctopher post about the location of the new SW forum?

Did someone red flag it, if so why? There was nothing wrong with it.

My guess is it's seen by current mgt as advertising a competing forum.

I had a big reply set up to post to it, got a distraction, and by the time I was back to my desk to post to the thread... poof it was gone. [lol]
