Our company upgraded our workstations to Windows 10 and in turn installed the latest version of RISA-3D (Version 18)

PROBLEM: While in RISA Floor we click on "Director" to open RISA 3D it cycles and then kicks back an error saying "RISA-3D not found". Have any of you ran across this before? Any ideas on what might be causing this?

Thank you,

Reply from RISA support.

Thank you for reaching out to us. As it stands today, RISA-3D v18 does not yet integrate with the other software within the RISA suite (RISAFloor, RISAFoundation, RISAConnection) or interact with other programs (DXF import, etc.). Currently, we are hard at work to make sure that the various programs work with RISA-3D v18 properly.

In the meantime, you can still integrate your models with RISA-3D v17 if you wish to maintain a connected workflow. The v18 installer did not remove v17 from your machine so that you can continue to use both. All of the files are backwards and forwards compatible so you can use both as you transition to the updated graphical interface of the new version.

Thank you for your patience with us while we finalize the integration and we will be sure to let you know as soon as it becomes available.

Sincerely,

Ashley

Wonder why they released it in the first place.

Hi All!
I think it is very important to make in RISA-3d V.18.1 quality engine Import/Export models in DFX format.
In previous RISA-3D versions (from 15 to 17 ), I very often used this functionality for import large models from Revit.
