Hello all,
I have an application where I need to get power out to a remote area of the site. Many years ago, I specified a piece of equipment that suited this situation perfectly. I no longer have the name of the manufacturer I specified and those documents are with a former employer and probably no longer exist. In any case, this switchgear manufacturer made many items, but one of them consisted of a 480V incoming main circuit breaker feeding a 480V distribution board which in turn fed a 480-208Y/120V,3Ph,4W Transformer, I believe up to 75 kVA and then a 208Y/120V, 3Ph,4W branch circuit panel with MCB. All of this was housed in a single, stand up, weatherproof switchboard section. I believe the manufacture was in the northeast US, I am in Caliornia.
This sound familiar to anyone out there. I am sure many custom houses can make it, I just was very happy with the quality, flexibility and follow through of this manufacturer.
If I can't track it down, I'll detail it and let the contractors figure it out, but I always like to have a source for anything I specify.
Thank you in advance, have a good day,
EEJaime
