I am going to buy a copy of Roark's Formulas for Stress and Strain. Has anyone used or browsed the 8th edition (just came out in Nov 2011)? I haven't been able to find any reviews and would like to how the volumes compare in organization of material and ease of use. I have gathered that some editions are better than others.

Thank you!

Like Nigel Tufnel of Spinal Tap says: "It's one better."

Hopefully the later the edition the fewer the errors that will have resisted discovery. Unless new errors are introduced with any new content that is added.

(Having said that, I have to admit that the copy in my bookshelf is only one edition more recent than JohnRBaker's edition.)
