Hi all,
We're beginning a new project in the coming weeks and the intention from our company is to begin using Robot as the primary software for structural analysis. This is partially because of the cross functionality with REVIT (which we use on all our projects).
In the past, we have done our analysis and design using a combination of structural anlaysis programs (STAAD, ROBOT etc.) and hand calculations. Moving forward however, for the superstructures especially we'll be focusing on ROBOT for our primary design.
I am wondering if people here have a template for the outputs that they generally provide from ROBOT (also welcome from other analysis programs) for the checker. In the past we have put together screen shots of different parts of the buildings, but between including node points, load types, combos etc. it can lead to an awful lot of output which can be hard for the checker to get through.
In short, I'm wondering how people export their models for checking by others.
Thanks
