I would like to know where I can get information on "Robotics Security & Safety Standards"?

I need to provide Guarding for a Robot and wanted to know what the recommended guide lines are for security & safety measures.

In the US, robot safety "standards" are "guidelines" covered under Robotics Industries Association / American National Standards Institute RIA/ANSI 15.06 standard. You can go online and purchase a copy for ~$40 I think. Make sure you get the latest version. For example, I think it is RIA/ANSI 15.06-1994 or something like that.

Besides the common sense issues, there are the standards for safety devices and procedures that were developed due to actual accidents. IMHO, in the US the "standards" are not enforced by any type of government agency as ISO standards are enforced in the EU. The "enforcement agency" of the US is the US legal industry.
