Does anyone here, have done rock excavation at St. Rupert BC? What would be the ballpark pricing for a rock that is blasted into 6" or smaller. Excludes your mob / demob. When posting please add your business email so i could contact you. thanks

You're going to have to really tighten up your spec if you want realistic numbers. Its not that I cant blast to minus 6 inch , but the powder factor would be so high, I would crucify whatever budgets you have. If you really want minus 6 inch , then blast to minus 30 inch and mobilize a crusher.

Agree with the above. Blast larger rock and crush into smaller.

If you designate the area as a bomb practice site, you could get the US to help get the rock size down. Those 2,000 # bombs do a real good job of softening up most things.

Yeah , the only trouble with that suggestion is it tends to throw the product all over hell's half acre and you spend a fortune picking it all up........ trust me , I've tried that technique altho with a high powder factor rather than a bunker buster.

yeah, yeah, yeah, but everything is WAY more fun without the use of blating mats

Even with blasting mats, you will get that citizen that absolutely insists that shotrock traveled from the blast site, down the street, around the corner, through the window into his building, and knocked him off the toilet the last time you blasted.
