Hi All,
I'm hoping someone can help me with a problem I'm having in designing a connection to a stainless rod hanger. This hanger is going to be 19' in length is supporting a landing of a planned new stair in an existing steel building. I have most of the design done, and I'm trying to figure out how to attach a tie back at mid height of the rod. I'd like a smooth clean connection that can tighten around the rod with sufficient tightness to remain in place and sag/slide down the smooth finish of the stainless steel. I'd like for this to connect to a turnbuckle or coupler back to another rod that connects to the floor beam.
Any ideas or companies that produce this item? Please let me know.
Thanks.
Rick
