I am having trouble finding a supplier for rod seals for a hydraulic press

Can anyone recommend a supplier please?

That is a cup seal, and there are many sources of supply. It is quite possible that the press manufacturer had the seals custom made to their design so that they are the only easy source of supply. That provides recurring future business for the company at very good margins.

this is a very old machine and I do not know the manufacturer
it is a rod seal U type, it is installed to seal the rod
cup seal is the seal for the piston?

You need to talk with a hydraulic seal vendor, give them approximate dimensions and they can find a seal for you. These are very common seals and the only thing they may need is the fluid type and temperature so they can select the correct seal composition.

Oops!

I guess you found this seal, as it has been said, it's very easy to find another similar seal to retrofit.

In any case, if you are looking for the exact manufacturer of this one, Parker has got a similar color for a PUR compound.

So, if you found it Nice! otherwise, please try to send a detailed picture of the heel where, in many cases, appears a logo.
