When editing a route in Routing. The cable wil not follow the path. If I turn on view sketches the sketch path is where I moved it, but the resulting outside cable will not move (see attached jpg senario 1) or dissappears all together, never to return (senario 2). All done with routing tools, not 3d sketches & extrusions.

"unexpected results" is such a nice way of putting it!! I have tried the Ctrl Q with no success. It's very eratic. Sometimes it does it, sometimes is don't. Hoped it was something I was doing! Thanks!

check the minimum bend radius of the cable and compare that to your path. If your sketch radius is smaller than the minimum radius of the cable it will not build it.

I just notcied that the Assembly instead of cpoints & 3D Sketch is showing cable_1, cable_2....cable_20. I inherited this model, how does that happen? Thanks.

you will need to post a screen shot with the feature tree shown with sub assemblies expanded or do a pack and go and post the SW files here so we can see what you are working with. I am waiting for the next service pack before I upgrade SW, I'm on 2009 now, so chances are the image would work better for me but other people might be able to help with the SW files (zipped)

Each route is its own sub-assembly, so I assume that cable_1 etc.. are the sub-assemblies (individual routes)
