This is the first time I've ever worked with RTDs and I'm trying to find RTD terminals to mount in our control panel. I haven't had any success finding any. I have searched Allen Bradley and Weidmuller. (We prefer these brands). What do you use?

Thanks,

Tim

What is wrong with standard terminals? The triple deck variety are useful if you are pushed for space in you panel, assuming you are using a 3-wire RTD. 3-wire RTD's give pretty good accuracy, almost as good as true 4-wire Kelvin bridge, but save a conductor.

RTD's are different to thermocouples and don't need special terminal materials to avoid thermal emf's being generated between the terminal and the conductor. Standard terminal materials are fine. That's maybe why you can't find anything specific to RTD's.
