Rule of thumb or technical standard for industrial fan 1

I want to design a centrifugal fan for transporting wood dust. Is there any rule of thumb or technical standard for industrial fan? For example, size of hub, blade thickness, shaft diameter, materials etc.

This is your first post here so not sure what you expect to get, but these sorts of things are the details that only vendors know.

Wood dust didn't normally go through the fan element.

Wood dust is explosive so be careful but many people already make such units.

Yeah, probably each manufacturer have their own standard and its confidential.
I agree. Wood dust is like a combustible gas. A little spark would create fire or explosion. For example metal-on-metal contact at high speed.

If you want to build a fan, you should.

Spark-resistant fans are not uncommon.
