Run INPUT-FILE from v.6.13 in 6.14 ??? Is it able?

Hey guys,

I got another question. At home i use ABAQUS 6.13-4. Now I want so to some simulations on the server of the University (version 6.12-...). The Problem is that the haven´t the same version ob ABAQUS than me at home. Is it able to use the INPUT-FILE of the job? Does I have to modify the input-file? When I compare two differnet INPUT-files from two different versions of ABAQUS there are no great difference between them.

So do you think this is possible?

The input file is just plain text. As long as you aren't trying to use an option that is only in 6.13, you should be fine. The .cae files are not backwards compatible afaik
