Hi,
We have ANSYS/LS-DYNA license and i can generate a the LS-DYNA input file (*.k) by using "write jobname.k" option in ANSYS GUI (under solution). I can solve this separately using LS-DYNA executable as we have a separate LS-DYNA license. However when i Issue the SOLVE command with in ANSYS, the program complaints with the following message.
"The ANSYS LS-DYNA solution could not be performed.
Check the availability of the executable in the C:\Program
Files\ANSYS Inc\v130\ANSYS\bin\winx64\ directory."
Any idea on this error? I tried copying the LS-DYNA (64-bit) executable to the specified folder but no luck. Is having ANSYS/LSDYNA license is enough to solve LS-DYNA problems? or is it for only generating the input (*.k) files?
OR Am i missing any configuration required to run LS-DYNA from within ANSYS?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Nodal.
