Rust in treated water

Dear Sir,

My plant have stainless steel pipe service treated water but i found some rust in the water , i try to find the root cause.
Anybody would to suggest me how can rust growth in treated water ?

When you say you have rust in the treated water do you mean that rust is on the pipes? Or is the water a rusty colour? Or is there flakes of rust in the water?

This is important because they are different problems.

You may have Microbiologically Influenced Corrosion (Mic).

However, before a proper answer can be developed, it is necessary to know what is in the raw water, the treatment that the water receives, and the operations of your facility.
 
If the iron in your water is greater than 0.3 mg/L you will get rusty water when it reacts with chlorine
