SAE 4140 steel coercive force 2

Hello, still very new to this forum.
I am trying to work out what would be the safe distance to position a magnetometer from a worse case scenario magnetised SAE 4140 steel.
Searched the net extensively but could't find any data for 4140 other than its magnetic properties may vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
Knowing the coercive force parameter would be helpful.

Looking in Bozorth at old Cr steel data I would expect for Q&T 4140 to fine H in the range of 25-50 Oe. Some of the higher C & Cr steel in the as quenched condition could reach 80, but you will be less than that.

I've had full hard 4140 measured at Br=10kG & Hc=37 Oe.
