SAE or European Equivalent for brake performance of Heavy Vehicles 1

Dear Experts,

As part of our tapered wheel bearing approval, I wish to determine a target figure for braking in km which is based on average deceleration, velocity and the number of km travelled per brake application.

Can anyone direct me to sources or standards used for guidelines on braking performance required for heavy / commercial vehicles?

Any information will be greatly appreciated.
