Hi,

You don't give much information.
I should say setpressure is design press. of the boiler.

Greetings

For a large boiler with multiple SRVs, the set pressures will not all be the design pressure.

I just want to know its steps before we do safety valve setting.

My boiler information:

Design Code: BS1113-1998
Max. Permissible W.P: 2.414 N/mm2
H.T Pressure: 3.621 N/mm2
Max. Continuous Rating: 20,000kg/hr

The simple answer, if using a single valve and no superheater, is that the set pressure of the valve is equal to the design pressure of the boiler, sized to pass 100% of the boiler capacity. If using multiple valves, or a superheater, then the requirements are a little different.

Thx to all.

I have done on Hydrostatic test at 33bar and also set safety valve at 22bar. Now, i'm just waiting to do steam test before start wet run for my new mill tomorrow.

Regards
