My propeller shaft drips saltwater (by design) on to my sea strainer which is made from brass. Consequently it has turned green and bleeds green corrosion on to the white gelcoating of my bilge. I'm taking care of the dripping by re-packing my stuffing boxes, but would like to know how to get the brass fittings restored and reverse the green stains in the bilge. Any ideas?
